Where is the V8DD7 patch available on the Progress' FTP site ?
There are two versions of the V8DD7 patch.
16bit V8 Progress (8.0x & 8.1x).
32bit V8 Progress (8.2x or higher).
Both versions of the V8DD7 patch are available on our ftp site at the following locations as of 12/15/99:
ftp: ftp.progress.com
user: customer
password: 1lkFun2 (password is case sensitive)
NOTE ABOUT THE FTP SITE PASSWORD:
The first character is the number one.
The second character is the lowercase letter "L".
/pub/patches/V8DD7/PRE-8.2 (for 16-bit)
/pub/patches/V8DD7/POST-82A (for 32-bit)
Each directory contains a zip file for the patch and a README file
with instructions for installing and configuring the patch.
The install instructions are also in Progress Kbase 15615 for 16-bit and Progress Kbase 18126 for 32-bit.
