GOAL:
Can the windows hourglass be modified to appear the entire time it takes to launch a progress client?
FACT(s) (Environment):
Windows NT 32 Intel/Windows 2000
FIX:
The time length that Microsoft's hourglass is displayed in not modifiable via a Progress client.
The windows hourglass is displayed when the main system ram is full and Windows needs to use the swap file located on Disk to complete the operation.
Contact Microsoft to see if the hourglasses time displayed is modifiable.
