How does Progress search the PROPATH?

What is the PROPATH?

FIX:

A list of directory paths separated by commas.
When you run a procedure from within a Progress session with the RUN statement, Progress searches for it in the directory paths defined in PROPATH in the order listed.

NOTE: When Progress encounters a period in PROPATH (".,C . . ."), it substitutes the pathname of the current directory.

Progress doesn't search sub-directories unless they are part of the relative
path/filename specified. Progress will search each PROPATH component(directory in PROPATH) for what you specify.
Example:
If you specify
run adm2/data.p
within a procedure editor and $DLC/gui is in the PROPATH but $DLC/src
is higher in the PROPATH, Progress will execute $DLC/src/adm2/data.p.
