SYMPTOM(s):
Cannot shutdown the database using scripts
Using ProControl to start the databases
CAUSE:
The databases were started using ProControl and the scripts are using proshut/proserve commands.
FIX:
For databases started using ProControl, use pccmd command to start and stop the databases for backup and maintenance routines.
