Browser has an * (asterisk) when viewed in character mode
Browse has fields enabled for update
CAUSE:
When using the ENABLE statement, the asterisk in column one is used to represent the raw marker.
FIX:
In order to prevent it from being displayed, use the WITH NO-ROW-MARKERS option in the DISPLAY statement.
