SYMPTOM(s):
MFG/Pro routine does not function properly.
The same program behaves differently when executing it against two distinct databases that have the same CRC (development and production databases, for instance).
Program aborts execution after displaying the following message:
"Browse or type search string and press [RETURN]:"
CAUSE:
One of the databases is missing a particular record and the MFG/Pro routine does not report the missing record.
FIX:
Make some changes in the code of the MFG/Pro program so that it fires up an error message whenever it fails to find a particular record.
