FACT(s) (Environment):
Progress 9.X
SYMPTOM(s):
ADM2
Bad performance with last button of Navigation panel (fetchLast)
CAUSE:
All the records of the database table is being transferred in the rowObject Temp-table because SDO property 'rebuild dataset on reposition' is not TRUE
FIX:
Check the SDO property 'rebuild dataset on reposition'.
It is very important to use this property when working on a "big" table because it refrains from fetching all the database records in the rowObject temp-table when jumping to the end of the table. This property is unchecked by default for backward compatibility and to keep a consistent scrollbar button in a SmartDataBrowser for small tables (when fetching all the record is not a problem)
