SYMPTOM(s):
This version of PROGRESS compiles only encrypted programs. (1086)
The error occurs when the "Check Syntax" menu option is invoked.
CAUSE:
The icon within the Progress program group was modified to add the -rx startup parameter.
FIX:
This warning indicates that you have started a Progress client session with the encrypted compiler startup option(-rx), but your 4GL source code has not been encrypted.
Remove the -rx startup parameter and attempt the "Check Syntax" option again.
