SYMPTOM(s):
WebInstall executable for Progress 9.1C is located within WEBINSTALL\Webclient\web_image directory within the WebServer
Runtime error is encountered when installing the application or WebClient
A Runtime error has occurred
Error: 'ether' is not an object
Client machine does not have Internet access
CAUSE:
The Installshield Wizard plugin is necessary to start the Webclient installation through the web. If the client machine does not have the plugin already installed, then WebClient will try to get it from the Internet.
FIX:
Progress supplies a Intranet version of the installation files for 9.1C. They are under the directory WEBINSTALL\Webclient\Intranet in the Progress CD. The installation files provided were built on Installshield 6.2.2.
