running a program (modification of a lot of records).
CHANGE:
changing the blocksize of the db (from 1k to 8k) by using 'prostrct create dbname .st -blocksize 8192' and procopy + dump and load.
CHANGE:
Configuration of the disks to use striping and change of the kernel parameter SHMAX to 67108864 from half of that value.
CAUSE:
corrupt dump-file.
FIX:
repeat the db conversion procedure and check the dump-files for corruption:
'prodb dbname empty8' + dump and load.
