How does Roundtable handle VBX support ( .WBX file )?
How does Roundtable handle VBX support?
When a VBX is dropped into a .W, Progress automatically creates a
.WBX file to store information about the VBX. Assuming that
a Roundtable object exists for the .W and is checked out in
Roundtable (Status: WIP), Roundtable also creates a .WBX object.
Roundtable then treates the .W and .WBX as one object. When
a .W that contains a VBX is checked in or out, its
corresponding .WBX is checked in or out as well. Along these
lines, when the .W object is deployed or imported into another
workspace, the .WBX is deployed or imported along with it.
If the last VBX is deleted from a .W, Progress automatically
deletes corresponding .WBX file. Roundtable realizes this and
automatically deltes its own .WBX object as well.
