WebSpeed(1.0 & 2.x) script to run the Application Compiler
There is a script included with the WebSpeed product on Solaris and
AIX that runs the PROGRESS Application Compiler. The script resides
in the bin subdirectory within the WebSpeed installation directory and
is called 'wscomp'.
The script adds the WebSpeed application default directory (current
working directory) to the PROPATH. This allows for ease of use when
running the Application Compiler to compile WebSpeed applications.
This is important if there is another PROGRESS installation on the
machine where WebSpeed is installed.
To use the script, you must first modify your PATH environment
variable by adding the $DLC and $DLC/bin directories to it. The $DLC
environment variable should be set to your WebSpeed installation
directory. Once you have modified your path, type 'wscomp' at the
UNIX command line. This will start a WebSpeed session and bring you
directly into the Application Compiler.
