SYMPTOM(s):
Command or filename not recognized.
Trying to execute the 4GL statement "COMPILE SomeFile.p SAVE" at the DOS command level.
CAUSE:
Progress does not have a DOS level COMPILE utility.
FIX:
The COMPILE SomeFile.p SAVE statement is a 4GL statement. It may be executed ONLY from the Progress Procedure Editor or from a Progress 4GL procedure and NOT from the DOS command line level.
