FIX:
Fathom for Management 1.0 gives the ability to monitor and trend information for local databases managed by the AdminServer process. Fathom for Management 1.0 does not have the capabilities to monitor a remote database.
Remote database monitoring can be done using Fathom for Management 2.0. This version introduced a new component called database agent (_dbagent), this process starts as a batch process and it keep feeding control and trending information to the Fathom instance.
With the remote database agent, Fathom for Management 2.0 overcome another limitation of the previous version that is monitoring and trending databases not managed by AdminServer.
