DGUX 4.11 MU02 libnsl.so
If you run DG/UX 4.11 mu02 (not certified by Pgogress as of Sep 13,
1996) and get the following error when trying to start Progress:
/lib/libnsl.so dynamic linker _mprosrv not found, refer to the MU02
documentation:
6.2 Setting elinks properly (MU02; Intel only)
If you are loading an MU on a system that has aco enabled, your
database products may not run properly and admdguxaco -o check reports
that SDE_LINKs are enabled when they are not.
To fix this problem, you must reset /usr/lib directory to SDE_LINKs,
as follows:
1. admdguxaco -o disable sdelinks
This sets all links to ELINKs.
2. admdguxaco -o enable sdelinks
This resets all links to SDE_LINKs.
Your database product will now operate normally and admdguxaco -o
check will report the correct information.
NOTE: Customer reports that after installation of mu02, there is a
resource problem. Customer is talking directly to DG about a patch to
mu02 to correct this problem. Ihave asked to be informed of the final
resolution, and will update this kbase when I learn of it. 09/17/96
