Empty Prowin32 window is kept opened after the batch program finishes
The 4GL program does not require user input
FACT(s) (Environment):
Windows
Progress/OpenEdge Product Family
CAUSE:
The 4GL program is being invoked by a batch file (.bat) without the -b parameter to execute the 4GL program in batch mode.
FIX:
In the batch file, call prowin32 using the -b parameter to start the program in batch mode. The -b parameter will show no User Interface and the empty window will not be displayed.
