FIX:
In order to establish an ODBC connection to a Progress Database on 8.X the ODBC client machine will need the following software:
Progress Client (ProVISION, 4GL, Client Networking) provided by Progress Software Corporation.
DataDirect ODBC driver for Version 8.X via SQL-89 Engine provided by DataDirect technologies.
The ODBC client machine needs a Progress client installed because the DataDirect ODBC driver does not provide all the components to establish a connection to a Progress database.
