Progress 9.x
SYMPTOM(s):
AppServer does not start
AppServer log files are not created
Trying to start the manually created app server
asconfig -name -validate
indicates the specified appserver does not exist
CHANGE:
Added the new broker into the ubroker.properties manually.
CAUSE:
The section for the newly created broker was not created properly
FIX:
Copy ubroker.propertie.template to ubroker.properties and adding app servers from progress explorer tool
