FACT(s) (Environment):
Windows NT 4.0 Terminal Server Edition
Citrix WinFrame
Citrix MetaFrame (for Windows 2000 Terminal Server)
SYMPTOM(s):
Getting error 5893 after installation of Progress on terminal server
The automation server for <automation object name> is not registered properly.
Please reinstall this server or try registering it again. (5893)
The automation server for PROX.PROIDE is not registered properly.
Please reinstall this server or try registering it again. (5893)
Not logged in as Local Administrator account.
CAUSE:
It is possible that when you installed you were not logged in as an Administrator account.
Full Administrator privileges are necessary to register OCX's and DLL's.
FIX:
Login as an Administrator account and re-register the prox.dll
regsvr32 <path to dlc\bin>\prox.dll
