Installation was done using a batch file to copy files and update registry entries.
CAUSE:
Instead of doing a valid installation of a Progress product (using netsetup or installing from cd), some customers use a batch file to copy files and update registry entries on the machine they want to "install" on. Sometimes this may work, but more likely not all required files are copied or registry entries updated, resulting in various errors. The 492 can indicate this.
FIX:
Install using a supported method.
