GOAL:
Why total database blocks might differ between a restored and original database
FIX:
Option 7 in Promon might show the total number of database blocks in a restored database as greater than the original database although the high water marks are the same. The reason may be because the backup was restored into a different structure with additional extents. This will increase the overall number of database blocks by adding on empty blocks to the database.
