FACT(s) (Environment):
Progress 9.x

SYMPTOM(s):
Error (8452) trying to start an appserver broker.
ERROR : Not licensed to run this product. (8452)
Able to configure the appserver section in the ubroker.properties file.
CAUSE:
Appserver was not installed on the machine.
FIX:
The ubroker.properties lists all the sections for the brokers that a Name Server can handle, but it does not mean that any product installed will be able to handle all of them.
The error (8452) will appear if the correct product is not installed and a broker is trying to be started.
The way to verify the products installed on your machine is:
UNIX Environment:
* Run showcfg command to see which the products are installed.
Windows Environment:
1)Go to the Programs option,
2) Look for the Progress program group
3) Then look for the option Config. It will display the Progress products installed on the machine.
