SYMPTOM(s):
Application uses a SmartPanel such as the p-updsav master
Pressing the <Cancel> or <Reset> buttons after copying or beginning
to update data in a SmartViewer will trigger any validation that may
exist on the fields in the SmartViewer or database fields
Generating the LEAVE event for the last field which had focus will trigger any validation as well
CAUSE:
This is the expected behavior
FIX:
To avoid the validation checks or the LEAVE trigger processing use the shortcut keys associated with the SmartPanel button (i.e., <ALT>-R for Reset, <ALT>-N for Cancel, etc.).
NOTE: The shortcut keys do *not* cause a LEAVE event.
