Can BI cluster size be changed on a restored database before AI is rolled forward?
GOAL:
Can BI blocksize be changed on a restored database before AI is rolled forward?
FIX:
It isn't possible to change the BI cluster size or blocksize before AI extents are rolled forward onto a restored database.
In order to do these changes a truncate bi (with the -bi or -biblocksize qualifiers) is required, and this would invalidate the roll forward. Thus the changes have to be done on the source database before the backup is made.
