SYMPTOM(s):
ORACLE 9.1.2. Oracle 9i, release 2
Getting error when running migration, Pro-to-ORA
Error: Oracle connect parameters are required
Need to reference username and password information within the ORACLE connect parameters field in order to run Pro-to-ORA
ORACLE Owner's Username defined during Pro-to-ORA
Oracle Username's password defined during Pro-to-ORA
ORACLE_HOME is set correctly and ORACLE_HOME\bin is defined within PATH
ORACLE_SID is not set
Connecting to Oracle locally
CAUSE:
When making a local connection, Progress checks the registry for ORACLE_HOME, ORACLE_HOME\bin in PATH and ORACLE_SID entries.
FIX:
Set ORACLE_SID on the system PATH and run the migration. You should be able to run the migration by only filling out the ORACLE Owner's Username and Oracle Username's password fields
