Is Progress supported on Reiser file systems on Linux?
GOAL:
Can a Progress database be stored in a ReiserFS in Linux ?
FIX:
Progress has performed some testing that have shown very inconsistent results.
It could be fast at times, but also at odd times it slowed down terribly.
At least for now it's not recommended.
Tests of ext3 showed the journaling part low impact when compared to ext2, so basically the recommendation is ext3.
