GOAL:
Why is not ADM2 folders available in runtime installation?
GOAL:
Why is not GUI\adm2, adm2 and TTY\adm2 folders available in runtime installation?
FIX:
The ADM2 folder and components are only installed with a Development License such as Provision.
ADM2 has never been included with run-time license, so this is expected behavior.
E.g. Personal database is a run-time license not a development license.
However:
- ADM folders were installed in version 8 and is still the case with version 9.
- ADM Run-Time Char and GUI are optional components
- But ADM2 folders have to be copied from a development license.
note:
Prior to 9.1D, Progress patches would supply the ADM2 folders and components when applied.
