SYMPTOM(s):
Using procopy to copy a database to a network drive from a PC for backup purposes causes errors (8898) and (210).
Attempted to exceed 2gb limit with file P:\db\sports.d1 (8898)
SYSTEM ERROR: Attempt to read block 0 which does not exist. (210)
Running from a command prompt, you get error (8898).
Running from a proenv commnand prompt, you get error (210).
prostrct create, and procopying into the new empty structure fails with the same errors.
CAUSE:
The exact cause is unknown at the time of this writing
FIX:
Instead of using procopy to make a backup of the database, use probkup instead and copy the backup file to the network drive.
