GOAL:
How to host different versions of Webclient
FIX:
Progress stores the current patched copy of the WebClient installer on the Progress website at the following location:
http://download.progress.com/open/products/v91d_v31d/progresswcpatch/webclient.htm
However, if you want to have an earlier version you would first have to acquire the earlier version of the patched WebClient and put it on your website.
Then you would modify the webclient.htm program to point to your WebClient installation directory.
You would also need to modify the Webclient package to change the preferred and accepted WebClient version in the WebClient Application Assembler on the WebClient tab in the Version fillin field. The version information is a comma separated list (preferred version first) of acceptable WebClient versions.
You would also change the location of the WebClient Install URL on this tab to point to your website.
