How to have a viewer that shows 2 fields (i.e. Salesrepname and salesrep) with a smart select based against a seperate table.
FACT(s) (Environment):
Progress 9.x
FIX:
In this example there is a Viewer basied against the customer table.
On the salesrep field in the viewer there is a smart select.
Also in this viewer there is a salesrep SDO.
1. Create a viewer against the Sales Rep SDO sdo containing the Salesrepname field.
2. Place this new viewer in the origional viewer.
3. Set the smart Select instance properties to Properties-> reposition Data Source.
Now as you scroll through the customers the Salesrep sdo is repositioned and the Sales Rep viewer is populated with the proper information
