SYMPTOM(s):
Shutting down AppServer
AppServer hangs when shutdown is initiated.
"Please wait. Stopping." message is displayed on screen.
FACT(s) (Environment):
All Supported Operating Systems
Progress 9.x
OpenEdge 10.x
CAUSE:
Shutdown order was database first then AppServer.
FIX:
Shutdown the AppServer first, then initiate the Database shutdown.
