SYMPTOM(s):
The Character Client is missing from the Progress 9.x Windows installation.
CAUSE:
The Progress Character Client is an optional component of the Progress installation on Windows.
If all default installation values are chosen during installation, the Character Client will not be installed.
FIX:
In order to make sure that the Character Client component is installed during the installation, make sure that you either choose the 'Custom' install option and select the Character Client as part of your installation or that you perform the 'Complete' installation option.
