Is it necessary to copy the bi when backing up an offline database with OS utilities?

FIX:
The best thing to do is copy off the bi as well as the other database files. When trying to save space for the backup, it is recommended to truncate the bi and use bigrow to grow the clusters. This will prevent a performance hit later on, when the bi tries to grow.
