FIX:
Yes. However, you must use a client/server TCP connection. This applies to Progress 4GL client/server connections, as well as SQL89 ODBC connections between these two Progress V8 versions. Additionally, a self-service (shared memory) connection will fail between these two version because 8.3C and 8.3E were compiled using different shared memory versions.
