GOAL:
Is the Trailer information of a DF file Mandatory?
FIX:
The trailer information of a DF file is not mandatory.
Trailer information of a df file contains:
Code Page of the file
Amount of characters in the df file.
If you create a df file and do not specify this information:
Progress will prompt you with a pop-up window when loading the file to the DB asking for a Code-Page. You will have to specify the Code-Page.
Concerning the Amount of Characters it will not be requested and the file will load.
