GOAL:
Can a Progress ASCII data file (.d) be converted to binary in order to perform a Progress binary load operation?
FIX:
No. However, the Progress bulk load operation can be used in substitution of a Progress Data Dictionary load, provided that the data contained within your existing ASCII data file possesses the same physical layout as described by your Progress table definition(s).
