SYMPTOM(s):
TranMan II. -lng ignored when application ran against AppServer on Unix and language specified with quotes.
CAUSE:
When and application has been translated with TranManII and source code is deployed in shared drive and application connected thru AppServer. The -lng
Startup parameter has no effect to the desired language at Runtime.
Message CURRENT-LANGUAGE view-as alert-box. shows the correct language set to the session with the Startup Parameter -lng, but the language displayed is the original one.
It looks like the combination of deployment of an Internationalized
application against an AppServer doesn't set correctly to point to the correct text-segment when client start with -lng startup parameter.
FIX:
Run the AppServer Agent with -lng Startup Parameter without quotes on the Server side.
