What happens when bi threshold (-bithold) is reached?
FIX:
Using Recovery Log Threshold (-bithold) startup parameter sets the maximum size to which BI files can grow. Once the threshold is reached, the database performs an emergency shutdown.
If Threshold Stall (-bistall) startup parameter is used, database stalls all forward processing instead of an emergency shutdown.
