ERROR: An unhandled exception was received. Please report this to Progress.
ERROR: Exception: java.io.IOException: Connection refused (8217)
ERROR: Exception: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset by peer (8217)

Installing name server on alternative operating system(s) not available
NameServer component can be upgraded
This problem might happen with or without the UDP broadcasting configuration (in a fail-over configuration).
FACT(s) (Environment):
WebSpeed 3.1A
WebSpeed 3.1B
Linux RedHat 6.2
UnixWare 7.1.1
Windows 2000
CAUSE:
The NameServer is approached with continous CGIIP process requests. When this occurs, the java layer receives an exception from the UDP protocol, causing JAVA TCP saturation.
Failure is specific to these platforms:
- Linux RedHat 6.2 - JDK 1.1.8
- UnixWare 7.1.1 - JDK 1.1.8
- Windows 2000 - JDK 1.2.2_007
FIX:
Upgrade only the NameServer component to Progress 9.1C.
