FIX:
Follow these three steps:
1.- Open your report and go to the File menu select Report options then check the option Use index or server for speed.
2.- Go to the ODBC Data Source definition for the Progress DB, click into the Configure button, then select the Advanced tab. Then change the value for Fetch Array Size.This value will increase the message size sent to Crystal Reports, try values between 100 and 200 to start with.
3.- You can run UPDATE STATISTICS to improve query performance.
