FIX:
The Minimum XML file functionality allows for the generation of configuration files that contain nothing more than the absolute minimum data that is required to make the connection to the repository. Note that generating a minimum configuration file requires that the session data can be retrieved from the repository.
In other words, each of the session types that have a minimum configuration file must either have the ·configuration_source· property set or Session Type Control Data appropriately set.
What is generated into the XML file is determined as follows:
· Session Properties · there is a list of essential session properties that is hard-codedinto the configuration file generation routine;
· Required Managers · only managers where the ·Write To Config· flag for the Manager Type has been set; and
· Session Services · only services where the ·Write To Config· flag for the Logical Service has been set.
The default session types that are supplied with Progress Dynamics· will only generate a manager entry for the ConnectionManager and will only generate services for "ICFDB" and "ASTRA".
