FIX:
Fathom High Availability Clusters 1.0A exposes the Progress Database as a true clustered resource Under Fathom Clusters, HP Service Guard can natively monitor the Progress Database, thus speeding up the failover process. Fathom Clusters will also automatically update the Cluster Manager of any database alterations such as the addition or deletion of database extents thus making the administration of the Progress Database in an Clustered Environment very easy.
Fathom Clusters is certified against HP Service Guard 11i/11.0 and Progress 9.1D for a shared nothing (shared disk) cluster environment.
The single point of failure that shared disk failover configuration gives, could be addressed using Business Copy to make the copy of the Database.
Later in time, Fathom High Availability Replication will be available to give you real-time database replication for your disaster recovery needs.
