SYMPTOM(s):
A batch program spawned by WebSpeed agent does not run when user is not logged onto the computer
The WebSpeed broker is started using Progress Explorer from a different machine
The batch program updates some files from the network drive.
WebSpeed Agents do not recognize the network drive that is in the Agent's PROPATH when user not logged onto the computer
WebSpeed broker is run using a domain user with appropriate privileges and security policies
The same user mapped the network derive in the WebSpeed transaction Server computer
CAUSE:
This is working as expected. When a user map a network drive, there is a checkbox that states "Reconnect at logon". This means that the user who mapped the drive has to logon into the computer to see the Mapped drive. If the user is not logged onto the computer, the network drive is unavailable.
FIX:
The user who mapped the network drive needs to be logged onto the computer in order to make the network drive available for the batch program to run successfully run.
