Getting error 8619 when trying to start a database using progress explorer
This process terminated with exit code <number>. (8619)
This process terminated with exit code 1. (8619)
Only WebSpeed workshop is installed; therefore has a personal database.
Clicked Yes on the error message below:
Unnetworked Item: The item you requested to start is not networked. If you proceed <item> will be started but will have no communication with the admin server. The admin server will not know if it is running or not.
Found a .lk file in the folder where the database resides
CAUSE:
Clicking the yes to the "unnetworked Item" error message caused the database to be started. Therefore after adding a port number as described in the Solution P15888, the "unnetworked Item" error is gone but the error 8619 is still apparent.
FIX:
Since this is a Personal database, stop the database using
proshut <path to the database folder\database name> -by
Restart the database using the progress Explorer.
