FACT(s) (Environment):
WebSpeed 2.x
SYMPTOM(s):
WTBMAN: Error <2> accessing shared memory for service <wsbroker-ws1>. (6301)
WTBMAN: WebSpeed service <servicename> is probably not running. (6302)
WTBMAN: Illegal or missing status parameters. (6299)
Restarted the broker but still the problem persists
The above errors does not cause any problem as far as accessing the WebSpeed but seems like those are bogus messages
The databases were shutdown without shutting down the broker first. After that the above errors were starting to surfaced
CAUSE:
Shutdown the database before stopping the broker. This errors went away after the WebSpeed brokers and the databases were shutdown and restarted in the following orders:
First start all the databases and make sure they are running. Then start the WebSpeed broker.
FIX:
Stop all the brokers and the databases that are connecting to the WebSpeed broker and restart them in the following orders:
First start all the databases and make sure they are running. Then start the WebSpeed broker.
