SYMPTOM(s):
Active Server Pages with IIS 5.0 used as ODBC client
Active Server Pages Connections work.
Database is restarted.
Attempt to establish Active Server Page Connection fails
Error: [object Error]:
[DataDirect-Technologies][ODBC Progress Driver][Progress]
Server not reachable or possible rpc error
RPC Server is not available.
Database log file shows Memory Violation (49)
Server Dies.
After Restart of Database, if the DSN name is changed problem does not happen.
Restarting IIS problem still occurs.
Problem does not occur on 9.1D05
CHANGE:
Upgraded Database to 9.1D06 or 9.1D07 problem occurs.
CAUSE:
Unknown at the time of writing - possible bug in Merant 3.60 driver
FIX:
User ODBC Driver DataDirect 4.1 32-Bit Progress SQL92
