S/E 49 for_proapsv, stacktrace shows csnet_disconn()
Limited number of appserver starts (200 instead of 400)
No connection attempt seen in any of the 4 database log files
IOException reading message from server : java.io.EOFException: pipe to server broken (8117)
OS resources have been checked.
User is not hitting a Opened Files limit
STATE-RESET mode
New _proapsv will be spawned if any has been trimmed earlier
CAUSE:
The function csnet_disconn makes use of sockets.
FIX:
Make more ports available by increasing srvrMaxPort and/or decreasing srvrMinPort values in ubroker.properties file for the Appserver Broker.
