SYMPTOM(s):
Trying to start the WebSpeed broker but getting error 8289 and 8281
Unable to connect to <broker_name> (8289)
Unable to find <broker_name> (8281)
FACT(s) (Environment):
In the new machine, the same folder structure is created as the old machine.
The new machine already has the progress 3.1C installed in it.
Use existing script to start the broker but the script was modified for the new broker name.
The WebSpeed 3.1C is moved from one machine to another same operating system but better machine using FTP.
UNIX
WebSpeed 3.1x
All Supported Operating Systems
OpenEdge 10.x
CAUSE:
The script is pointing to the old DLC environment.
FIX:
Replace the DLC environment variable in the script so it points to the correct WebSpeed installation.
