SYMPTOM(s):
Error when building Progress executable with GNU compiler
Problem when running script created by "probuild"
CAUSE:
GNU compiler different from compiler provided by OS vendor
FIX:
There might be a way to building a new Progress executable using the GNU compiler, by changing some linking options in the "ldpro" script generated by "probuild" but, Progress does limit its support to the compiler or linker provided by the OS vendor.
