SYMPTOM(s):
During compression of Progress backup-files the machine crashes
ulimit set to unlimited
problem is with all files bigger than 2 Gig, not only Progress.
CAUSE:
file system does not accept large files (bigger than 2 Gig)
FIX:
rebuild file system and enable large files.
